JD is a retired Montessori teacher. She is the mother of two, grandmother of six and great-grandmother of Lexi and Landon. She wrote her first poem when she was eight and has been dabbling in poetry ever since. JD lives in a tiny apartment in Greenville, South Carolina. Much of her day is spent reading and writing. She is working on a novel about New England that she hopes to finish soon.
