Cynthia Morgan DeKett, commercial & fine artist, writer and blogger makes her home on a mountainside in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. She specializes in one of a kind pencil portraiture and art furniture, yet finds no medium off limits, layering aesthestics with functionality and humor --- as evidenced in her blog (imustbeoffmyrocker.blogspot.com) and soon to be released teen novel Emrysia Awakening, Book One of the Three Sisters Trilogy. She shares her life with husband Roger and their five (yes, 5!) beautiful children, a mixed-mutt labshepweiller named Fudge, a persnickety Maine Coon cat, semi-annual livestock, and occassional bear or moose. In her spare (ha!) time she enjoys creative culinary, gardening, reading, and performing in local theater.
